Are there any rules at the Centre?
It is necessary to have some rules at the centre to ensure that it
is a safe, neutral and comfortable environment for everyone:
yourselves, your children and other families and volunteers at the centre.
- No child can be left at the centre without a parent in attendance.
- Parents are always responsible for the safety and supervision of their child/ren.
- A child can only be taken from the centre during a visit if it is
stated on the referral form or with written permission of both parents
- Relatives and friends can only attend if they are named on the referral form.
- There are no facilities for pets, so these should not be brought with you.
- There is a no smoking policy on the site
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed admittance
- Video, still photography, digital cameras and mobile phones are not allowed.
- Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and those involved will be asked to leave.
- Parents should tell us if they wish to make changes to their
arrangements for contact, or if they will not be able to attend a
session, so that another family may be able to take their place.
- Non-resident parents/family members need to attend 10 mins before
contact is due to start and remain 10 mins after the resident
parent/family member has left with the child/ren.
- If a resident or non-resident parent/family member fails to attend
on three occasions without a reasonable excuse, they will lose their
place at the centre.
